New Year is traditionally a great time for a fair but for most venues, which want to charge double rates, it is not viable. Our deal with Down Hall will benefit everyone especially as it means very reasonable stand costs and FREE admission for the public to enjoy the fair.
The venue is a lovely 19th Century mansion which is now a very popular 4* Hotel situated just outside Hatfield Heath, close to Bishops Stortford, Stansted and the M11. We have taken the whole of the ground floor so can have an array of quality exhibitors in the various suites as well as the ballroom. Access is very easy to all areas and there is lots of parking for sellers, guests and visiting public. The fair will officially run from 10am to 5 pm on both days but we suggest flexibility on the closing time as there will be new hotel guests arriving on both days who may wish to look around and buy after that time!
What will you get? A single stand will consist of two tables which can be used either in an L shape or double banked (but not end to end) and a double will consist of four tables used in a similar way or the equivalent floor space. The price will be just £110 for a “single” and £180 for a “double”. These are very competitive rates for a venue and fair of this calibre so don’t delay booking. In addition two complete rooms are available off the main lounge and next to two of the other suites. They are the Rookwood (17’ x 24’6”) and Lyndhurst (16’ x 24’6”) and these will be available at £300. Each is capable of taking at least 2 “doubles”. They are ideal for quality furniture and smalls or perhaps for two dealers wanting to share. The other suites off the lounge area are the Prior and Harley. All are impressive bright rooms with easy access to the front of the building and the main entrance. The ballroom (Bridgeman Suite), which is the largest single room, is a short distance away at the rear of the building and will be very well signed to ensure that everyone enjoys the whole fair.
The Hotel is fully booked for New Years Eve so we will have a captive audience of around 200 4* guests and the event will receive very extensive promotion by us and Down Hall. There will be significant catering concessions for exhibitors throughout the fair (including free tea and coffee throughout both days) and we have managed to get a terrific deal for any exhibitors wishing to make a special weekend of it! The usual room rate is £130 per night, B & B for two, but we have obtained a very good rate of £130 per night for two people with Dinner, B & B! As the food there is superb this represents a great deal and it applies for the nights of 1st and/or 2nd January. Just mention Hallmark Fairs when you call to book on 01279-731441.
